Sdílená ekonomika se zaměřením na Airbnb

Abstract

This bachelor thesis is focused on the shared economy, specifically on shared accommodation, the most significant intermediary of which is the company Airbnb. The aim of this work was to outline the theoretical basis of the shared economy and using the results of research aimed at long-term rental and provision of accommodation services through Airbnb to propose measures that will improve the position of providers and users of shared accommodation on the Airbnb portal. First, the administration of long-term and short-term rent was compared, then the tax legislation of the Czech Republic in the field of accommodation was compared and a questionnaire survey was conducted. Finally, suggestions and recommendations were made to improve the position of Airbnb guests and hosts.
