Abstract

This thesis examines the issue of risk analysis and its potential applications at GasNet, s.r.o. The aim of this thesis is to clearly describe the basic principles of risk management, classify the various types of risks, and present selected methods for their analysis. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on explaining the concept of risk, its origins, and methods of assessment, including the Bow-Tie method, FMEA, What-If analysis, risk matrix assessment, and brainstorming. The practical part of the thesis is devoted to the application of selected methods within the environment of GasNet, s.r.o., primarily using a model example of a selected piece of technical equipment. Based on the analyses performed, the individual methods are compared, and recommendations are formulated for their effective use in practice.
