Vliv metalurgického zpracování na vlastnosti ICDP litin

Abstract

The main task of my Diploma Thesis was to evaluate the influence of the oxygen activity in the iron-cast to the resulting material characteristics. I focused in my work to special materials which are used for manufacturing of centrifugal casting cylinders for hot roll tracks – ICDP and core iron-cast. The work describes the effect of different technological melt processes on the measured oxygen activity. The oxygen activity was measured by sensors in induction furnace and pan after modification and just before casting.

The work also explains theoretical principals of element activity, namely oxygen activity in cost-irons, the ways to measure the element activity and the contribution of vaccination and modification.
