Abstract

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to simulate the functioning of an electro-hydraulic valve block which controls through the pressure of the hydraulic oil main shutoff valve on the steam inlet to the turbine. This electro-hydraulic valve block will be controlled by using a conventional PLC MicroLogix1200 Allen-Bradley. During the work I had to learn the basic principles of programming PLCs. MicroLogix 1200PLC with program algorithm functioning of electro-hydraulic block by the connection to the control system of the turbine should be used to verify the correct functioning of the turbine protection. Among others should also learn about of the general principles and standards SIL and SIS.
