Studie proveditelnosti přečerpací vodní elektrárny

Abstract

The aim of this work is to develop a cost-benefit assessment for the completion of a pumped storage hydroelectric power plant at the ski resort. The aim of the work is to answer the question whether it is advisable to build this power plant. This work is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part deals with the basic information concerning pumped storage power plants, their layout and especially the possibility of providing static and dynamic services. The practical part is devoted to the description of the current state, the design of the generating unit and the efficiency of the individual cycles. Finally, the whole project is economically evaluated with the possibilities of different construction options. The thesis concludes with a recommendation on whether the project makes sense, or for which option the specified project makes sense to build, and here it is also described which service options offer the best value for money. It is concluded that any current redevelopment is not economically viable, mainly due to the current volatile economic and political situation and the impossibility of establishing cooperation with a flexibility aggregator.
