Struska jako odpadní materiál a její využití pro ekotoxikologické testování

Abstract

This diploma thesis in general deals with slags, their description from the perspective of environmental hazards and use not only for ecotoxicological testing. For the needs of this diploma thesis, aqueous leachates of various slags types were prepared (ladle-PS, blast furnace-VS and furnace-PES), with a grain size of < 10 mm, which were later subsequently subjected to selected ecotoxic tests (acute test on daphnia (Daphnia magna Straus) for 24 and 48 hours, test of semichronic toxicity on mustard seeds (Sinapis alba L.) and two samples of slags (VS and PS) to a contact test in combination with artificial and arable soils, on lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) – (slags grains sizes of < 2 mm). The aqueous slags leachates were then characterized by chemical analyses according to valid regulations and decrees and the solid samples of slags according to XRFS method and determination of total carbon and sulphur. Finally, in the water leachates were tested according to decree the contain of hexavalent chrome by using the photometric method with 1,5-diphenylcarbazide was determined.
