Abstract

Environmental pollution and rising costs of energy are the two reasons forcing developers and home owners to take measures leading to lower energy consumption. Modern technologies offer several ways to reach these measures in both newly built structures as well as older buildings. The biggest parts of costs of house and apartment maintenance are central and water heating. This fact enabled the rise of many modern technological procedures which lead to considerable economical savings. The aim of this thesis is to assess a family house designed in a traditional way with low energy standards from its energetic requirements point of view. It also deals with distribution of cold and warm water and with drainage system in the house. The house is partially designed as two-storey and partially as one-story building. The roofing is gabled and countered. The main entrance is North-East oriented. The thesis is in a form of documentation for a building execution.
