Metody detekce čistoty povrchu a její vliv na životnost organických povlakových systémů

Abstract

Corrosion adversely affects the function and the lifetime of constructions and equipment. One way how to prevent the corrosion is the protection with organic material coating systems. However, there are factors that negatively affect this kind of corrosion protection. The important factors include the preparation and cleanliness of the surface prior the paint application. The thesis describes the influence of the water-soluble impurities to the protective properties of the coating. The aim is to investigate their significance on the surface and find the limit of contamination from which they start to act negative. In this context, the different surface morphology is observed. To determine the objectives within the frame of the thesis verification tests are carried out in accordance with valid standards. Material engineering technologies are also applied.
