Abstract

The thesis is focused on financial analysis of the company Třinecké železárny, a.s. for the period 2009 to 2011. In the first part of the thesis is characteristic of the chosen company. The theoretical part describes the three types of financial analyzes and explains the ratios that are necessary for a financial analysis of the company Třinecké železárny, a.s. The next part is the financial analysis of the selected using financial ratios, horizontal and vertical analysis of assets, liabilities and profit and loss account and performs a calculation and subsequent interpretation of the values of ratios of profitability, activity, leverage and liquidity.
