Těžba uranové rudy na ložisku Brzkov – Horní Věžnice

Abstract

The main aim of this thesis is to evaluate existing mining activity in the area of Brzkov – Horní Věžnice and to suggest and describe different ways of research, openings, preparations and mining deposits from the surface using available mining technologies. An essential part of this work is a questionnaire related to mining of uranium in the Czech Republic, to be specific in Brzkov – Horní Věžnice. Moreover, this paper focuses on processing and transportation of uranium from the area of my research, the influence of mining on the environment in Brzkov area, effacing effects of mining activity and the process EIA. My personal goal is to use and apply previous knowledge acquired during my studies at VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava.
