Abstract

This thesis concerns the municipal flood protection of Polanka upon Odra and Klimkovice lying to the North Moravian between Ostrava and the Studénka. The existing flood protection measures in Klimkovice Polanka and Oder are insufficient. Polančice stream flowing through the city, there is often fallout from the bank, at a flow rate Q5. Here she does damage to buildings and land, which is undesirable. The work will be designed two ways to channel modifications, are discussed their advantages and disadvantages. When designing shore defenses were calculated using the reduction of flood polders to Rakovec and upstream Polančice.
