Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with the determination of losses for reasons of alterations in the light section rolling mill track in the conditions of the companies ArcelorMittal Ostrava. In the theoretical part of the work is the emphasis on typology of production planning andcontrol, while the main attention to the particular level of operational management and the importance of the collection and assessment of data for the management of the company. The application part of the thesis is focused on the analysis and evaluation of the loss of rolling of small production campaigns. On the basis of the above facts, the difference of opinion has been divided to two solutions to the problem, which should contribute to the reduction of the losses listed
