Abstract

The theme of the thesis is employees recruitment and selection. The first part describes the theoretical knowledge concerning management of human resources, personnel activities and particularly characterizes in detail the process of recruitment and selection of employees. The empirical part characterizes the joint stock company LANEX, which is then analyzed. Information gathering was carried out on the basis of sociological research and analysis of the current state of society, which became the basis for the determination of certain proposals and recommendations that were established in accordance with the obtained theoretical knowledge. This thesis also consists of attachments that concretize and complete the data used in it. The aim of this thesis is to provide a comprehensive overview of the current state of society, to analyze the process of recruitment and selection of employees and on the basis of this analysis it provide proposals and recommendations that will help to improve this process. Results of the analysis showed that the process of recruitment and selection of employees in the company LANEX is set properly. Nevertheless, some recommendations were defined to increase its effectiveness. Nevertheless, to increase its effectivness some recommendations were defined.
