Abstract
I focused in my thesis on the penetration of ethics to the business, especially on fundamental internal tool of business ethics – a code of ethics and its advantages and disadvantages for the company. I applied the thesis to a company, whose activities are implemented through forwarding trade as an e-shop. The aim of thesis was to make a draft of a code of ethics for the firm, which would be adopted as one of its mandatory internal documents.
I analyzed the ethical climate in the company, which served as a basis for the draft of a code of ethics. It was done by analyzing of internal documents in the selected firm and based on my experiences gained during the cooperation with this firm. I used a method of interview during a work on this thesis and I also cooperated with the members of the management from the company and consulted with them about all the drafts concerning the code of ethics. The drafted code of ethics contains the preamble and regulates relations with six stakeholder groups – customers, employees, business partners, shareholders and other investors, government and local authorities.
