Abstract

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to create a working e shop. The thesis is divided into four chapters. The first chapter describes theoretical background related to e-commerce. The second chapter analyzes the current stage of the company’s web presentation, explains the assignment from the company’s view and the reasons for choosing open-source software Prestashop - which is the base for the e-shop created in this thesis. The following chapter describes the creating process from installation through its set up, product import and changing design to duties required by the law. The fourth chapter evaluates benefits caused by the implementation of the e-shop.
