Optimalizace nasazení lokomotiv a vozů při zajištění dodávek hnědého uhlí pro elektrárny Prunéřov

Abstract

Rail transport ensures the supply of brown coal to the Prunerov power stations. In the recent past, it was considered to replace it with the transport by a long-distance conveyor, but such a kind of solutions showed to be unprofitable. The presented work addresses the potential optimization of the rail transport. The first part describes the current state including the requirements of the power stations for various wattages. Afterwards, the work deals with technical specifications and capabilities of engines in view of their load and track conditions on the mine railway. Provided information comprises the basis for the forth part which is focused on the discussion of possible changes in the number of operating wagons of a complete train. The last part contains the recommendation for the management of the company SD-KD to optimize the deployment of engines and wagons when ensuring the supply of brown coal to the Prunerov power stations.
