Hanusová, V. Application of Thermal imagers for finding people in the terrain. Ostrava, 2015. 40 pages, Bachelor thesis VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Safety Engineering, Department of Security Services This Bachelor thesis is specialized to comparing three different thermal imagers for different situations, so that was evaluated only one thermal imager that will best suit for finding people in the terrain. The aim of this thesis is to determine, with a few specified situations, under certain condition, which thermal imager meets the needs in searching for missing people in the terrain. In the theoretical section summarizes the basic physical principles that relate to the functions and principles of thermal imagers. Were also summarized and described the various parameters and design thermal imagers, and last but not least common mistakes in measuring thermal imager and its use in practice. In the practical part I describe six different situations in a total of seven points and evaluate thermal imagers in every situation. At the end of each situation is evaluation and comparison of thermal imagers and determining the most appropriate.
