Kognitivní rehabilitace seniorů v pobytových zařízeních sociálních služeb

Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of cognitive rehabilitation in homes for the elderly and homes with a special regime in selected regions. The aim of the diploma thesis was to find out the status and extent of cognitive rehabilitation provision in selected social service facilities in the Moravian-Silesian and South Moravian regions based on a questionnaire survey. As part of the work, a socio-demographic analysis of selected regions was also carried out according to established indicators. In order to fulfill the aim of the diploma thesis, a questionnaire survey was carried out. The questionnaire was sent to 188 facilities of selected accommodation services in Moravia-Silesia and the South Moravian Region. The return rate of the questionnaire was 47.87%. The result of the investigation showed that cognitive rehabilitation is implemented in most facilities of selected residential social services and various forms of cognitive rehabilitation are carried out. The respondents evaluated cognitive rehabilitation as beneficial for improving the cognitive functions of the clients of these residential facilities.
