Abstract
Thesis analyzes the EU enlargement process in 2026, focusing on accession requirements and integration barriers. The objective is to compare the readiness of Albania and Turkey for full membership. Using PEST analysis and risk matrices, the study identifies political, economic, and geopolitical factors affecting negotiation progress. The findings highlight the contrast between Albania's adaptive model and Türkiye's strategic autonomy. The conclusion assesses the impact on the EU budget and specific opportunities for the Czech Republic
