Rozvoj infrastruktury cestovního ruchu v obci Modrá

Abstract

My bachelor thesis is titled "Tourism infrastructure development in the village of Modra". Specifically, it is focused on the history of village Modra, its infrastructure, and projects, which are underway in this village and are of great importance for tourism development. In the practical part I have concentrated on the main attraction of the village Modra – Archeomuseum, where I analyzed the number of visitors over the past five years and recommended minor changes to increase the number of visitors. In detail I have been also concentrated in possibility of creation an information center in this work. I´ve conducted a questionnaire among the citizens of this village. I found out some information about in what services they would be interest in, furthermore if they consider locality near the Archeomuseum as an interesting place and suitable for the creation of an information center, or whether this new service would in their opinion affect the level of services to local citizens, tourists or for both. I have come to the conclusion that it would be appropriate to create information center in this village and I suggested two options how this facility could work. One of them is more expensive - construction of new buildings. The second option is financially more favorable – Facility in the operation under the reception of the Hotel U Skanzenu Modra.
