Abstract
This diploma thesis describes the design of competency models for specific job positions in the manufacturing organization. Created competency model will be the basis for the evaluation and development planning and employee training. As part of the work will be designed functional and practical use competency models. The thesis is divided into two parts theoretical-methodological and application-verification. The theoretical and methodological part of the work has been characterized in detail competencies, development and evaluation. Application-verification part focuses on the build competency models for three selected positions, their verification and use in practice.
