Abstract

The name of the thesis is “The System of Work with Suppliers in the Manufacturing Company“ and it focuses on analysis of evaluation of purchasing process with emphasis on running evaluation of suppliers in chosen company. The thesis is divided in introduction, four chapters and conclusion. Firstly, the selected company is briefly described. Following part is concentrated on theoretical background of purchasing process and regular evaluation of suppliers. The structure of purchasing process, its goals and how it is organized is described. The strategies of selection of suppliers are introduced and existing evolution of supplier-buyer relationship is outlined. Further, why it is essential to evaluate suppliers regularly and what are barriers of relevant evaluation are explained. The criteria of evaluation of suppliers are determined thereby it is possible to evaluate and classify suppliers into categories. Moreover, the process of defining needs, making orders, complains, evaluation of suppliers and customer audits is analysed. Eventually, ascertained drawbacks will be eliminated via newly developed criteria and sub-criteria for evaluation of suppliers. The scales of criteria and also scoring scales for evaluation will be created. Newly defined changes will be implemented into current evaluating programme.
