Abstract

This diploma project concerns xDSL technology overview including new trends in development. Subsequently there are analysed most negative factors that influence ADSL service quality. Essence of this project is to analyse influence of distance on service quality. After measuring 4 ways at ADSL2+ setting according to Annex B in given distances while using wireline simulator all results have been arranged in report overview. On the base of charts it is possible to estimate connection speed in various distances from DSLAM. At the same time this project serves as overview of eligible technologies on czech market and its possible usage on customer site.
