Abstract
This diploma thesis deals with the design and implementation of a system for recording the position and other operational data of means of transport, such as automobiles. The aim of the work was to create a solution consisting of a hardware module and a server part enabling the storage and visualization of measured data. The hardware module, utilizing various data sources (GPS, accelerometer, gyroscope, vehicle CAN bus), collects data and subsequently stores it in connected storage, or optionally sends it in real-time to the server. The server part ensures the reception, storage, and visualization of the received data.
The thesis describes the design of individual components, their implementation, and mutual communication, resulting in a functional prototype for monitoring and analyzing the movement of means of transport.
