Abstract
The thesis deals with hydrogen technology and theoretical proposal of a hydrogen storage system. The first chapter describes the hydrogen as a chemical element. Further it is explained its new use as an energy carrier and its use in the world. The second chapter focuses on the hydrogen economy. This chapter contains the pros and cons of a hydrogen economy. In addition, a summary of hydrogen projects and their location in the world. The next chapter is about the possibilities of producing hydrogen from solar power. This chapter-described physical principles hydrogen technologies are used worldwide. It is also compared them. At the end of this chapter are described the possibilities of linking this technology to solar power plant and their advantages and disadvantages. The penultimate chapter is a theoretical proposal of a hydrogen storage system. The thesis discusses the logic of the system, the block diagram, a list of components for its implementation. Last but not least has been calculated efficiency and lifetime of the system. In the end, the last point of the work is technical-economic analysis. Here are dealt investment and operating costs of the system and also a theoretical proposal to grant similar way systems.
