Využití uhlíkatých sorbentů při dočištění odpadních vod z chemického průmyslu

Abstract

This thesis deals with the issue of treating wastewater from the chemical industry using carbon-based sorbents. The theoretical section summarizes the current state of wastewater treatment, relevant legislation, and the characteristics of the sorbents used, particularly biochar. The experimental section focuses on evaluating the effectiveness of selected sorbents in removing pollutants and assessing the ecotoxicity of the tested wastewater. The conclusion of the thesis is devoted to a practical proposal for improving the current technology at a selected chemical industry facility. The aim of the thesis is to conduct selected ecotoxicity tests on wastewater from the chemical industry and to determine the effectiveness of carbon-based sorbents or their modifications in treating this wastewater.
