Abstract
This work deals with the management allowance organizations in culture. The theoretical part focuses on the development of culture and cultural policy in the Czech Republic and sources of funding. It deals with the characteristics of non-profit organizations established by municipal authorities. Practical part analyzes and evaluates the management of the Ostrava Museum. In conclusion, there are some recommendations for improving services.
