Abstract
This thesis focuses on innovating a company’s occupational injury management system through the concept of “Learning from Incidents.” The introductory section defines the legislative framework for addressing occupational injuries and analyzes theoretical approaches to risk management and models of learning from incidents. This section is followed by an analysis of the current state of the incident management system in a selected company, conducted using a methodology for assessing the level of learning and identifying process barriers. The conclusion of the thesis presents a concrete proposal for an innovative system that integrates tools for incident reporting and methods for effectively sharing experiences across the organizational structure. The aim of this thesis is to propose an innovation of the existing occupational injury management system in a manufacturing company based on the principles of learning from incidents, with an emphasis on active employee participation and effective knowledge sharing.
