Výběr a hodnocení dodavatelů ve výrobním podniku

Abstract

Bachelor thesis deals with the process of supplier selection and evaluation in the manufacturing company METALTECH s.r.o., representing a typical medium sized engineering enterprise. The theoretical part defines the role of purchasing in the value chain, describes supplier selection criteria, evaluation methods and principles of supplier relationship management. The practical part analyses the current supplier selection and evaluation system in the company and identifies in particular the absence of formalised evaluation and the prevalence of intuitive procedures based on buyers’ experience. Based on the identified weaknesses, a simple weighted scoring model combining economic, quality and risk criteria is proposed. The application of the model to selected suppliers demonstrates its contribution to more objective and transparent purchasing decisions and to more systematic supplier management.
