Abstract

This diploma thesis describes the influence of heat treatment conditions welded chains strength class 10 on the final mechanical and plastic properties. In the content, there are the particular heat treatment procedures summarized by which are required changes of steel properties achieved. Other chapters describe the different types of heating furnaces and their influence on the steel heating. In the experimental part there are temperatures measured by using thermograph cameras during quenching and tempering at six different settings of induction heating. Subsequently are the mechanical and plastic properties of the samples evaluated by setting the induction device. In conclusion there is the comparison of the various processes and their influence on the final mechanical properties of chains specified.
