Abstract

The subject of this bachelor thesis is suppliers evaluation process in organization which produces steel rolled slabs. Suppliers are evaluated according to the chemical composition of steel no. 11523. Statistical – analytical methods are used in this process. In the introduction is shown importance of purchasing and suppliers evaluation process in the organization. In theoretical part are explained methods for suppliers evaluation process used in experimental part. The experimental part deals with application of these methods to data that manufacturing organization provided for this evaluation. The final part shows summary of results and also shows which supplier is closest to the optimal value defined by organization.
