Plnění cílů týkajících se chudoby a sociálního vyloučení v České republice

Abstract

The bachelor thesis focuses on the problematic of poverty and social exclusion in the environment of the Czech Republic. The theoretical part aims to conceptualize the terms poverty, social exclusion, social inclusion and the possible forms of measuring poverty. For the designation of these terms, the methods of descriptions and literary research are used. The main goal of the practical part is to evaluate the situation in the individual regions regarding the presence and the extent of social exclusion in the Czech Republic in the period from 2016 to 2020. For the determination of the scope of the risk of poverty, the thesis defines five criteria related to the social-economic situation in the Czech Republic. In the framework of the practical part, methods such as classical descriptive statistics, multi-criteria analysis of variants and synthesis are used. Secondary goal of this work is comparison of the presence of poverty and social exclusion with other states of the European Union in the context of Europe 2020. The conclusion brings a summary of the findings and hints at the development concerning the increase of risk of poverty, material deprivation or social exclusion.
