Charakteristiky korónových výbojů

Abstract

In this thesis, I focus on the description and measurement of an electrical phenomenon known as the corona discharge. While this phenomenon is generally considered undesirable, it also finds application in certain branches of electrical engineering. The following chapters provide an explanation of the discharge mechanism and the differences in its behavior under various applied voltage conditions. Furthermore, this work outlines the methods used for detecting corona discharges, as well as some characteristic properties of this type of discharge. The experimental section is dedicated to the measurement and subsequent calculation of the inception voltage using a conductor-to-plate model under AC voltage and both polarities of DC voltage.
