Abstract

The dissertation cosiders the design and solution of the central heating in the family house (thereinafter FH). FH is situated in climatic environment of the Czech Republic, where outside temperature during winter season can be as low as Te = -15 oC and relative outside air humidity φe = 86%. The designed FH meets ČSN 73 0540-2 requirements for heat transition coefficient and thermal resistance of the cladding ( see the calculation section). The calculation section contains among others the evaluation of the thermal loss of the building according to ČSN EN 12831. The condensing gas boiler, model VUI 280-7 aqua PLUS with built in sandwich reservoir for hot water (20 l) from company Vaillant, was chosen as a main source of the heating and also to cover the thermal loss of the building. Copper was chosen as THE material for the central heating pipes. The heat is distributed by RADIK radiators and one OPLEFLEX floor heating convector. Total calculated thermal loss of the building is Qc = 8049 W. Combined output of all radiators within FH (total installed capacity) is 10 413 W. The designed gas boiler has heat capacity range between P = 10,7 kW and 28 kW.
