Abstract

This work deals with the process of selection and adaptation of employees in the organization. The aim of this work is to evaluate the process of selecting employees on the basis of its analysis, to recommend a better solution for a selection process of employees and to draw up a process of adaptation of employees at VTC, a. s. The first part of this thesis is concerned with theoretical basis of selection and adaptation of employees. For this purpose, the information was drawn from scientific publications of Czech and foreign literature and related laws. The methods used in the theoretical part of this work are analysis, synthesis and comparison. The second part includes an elaboration of the subject in business practice. In order to prepare the practical part of this work was selected a specific company operating in the Czech market. To analyze the process of selection and adaptation of employees in a selected organization were used methods of collecting data using interviews, both face-to-face and written. From the information obtained, it was found that the adaptation of employees in a selected organization is not given enough attention, and it has been suggested a lot of recommendations to improve the situation.
