Abstract
Competitiveness of regions is a very actual topic in the latest years. In my thesis I focus on directions of rising the competitiveness in Moravan Silesian Region.
I choose as key factors - human resources, economic structure, innovation, research and development, clusters, direct foreign investments, infrastructure, quality of environment.
Moriavan Silesian Region has in many directions strong potential for development, in spite of it has a londtime a bad image, he slowly turn in atractive place for live and foreign investors, place rich for inovation. I belive this region has posibility to longtime rising the competitivness.
