The main goal of the diploma thesis is to propose the development of the missing disctrict, Prague-Smíchov. The introduction is devoted to analyzes. On the basis of the found information is further processed urban division of the area. Smíchov is characterized by block buildings, which are also transferred to the design. However, in the center, the blocks open and the greenery enters them. A characteristic feature of the development is the alley, which is complemented by a water element. The primary function is housing. It is followed by other important functions: administration, education, services.
