Abstract
This diploma thesis is focused on the design and implementation of the voting system controlled by a microcontroller. Result of the work should be in the form of a voting system that uses multiple ways to power and communication with master system. The requirement for the creation of this device was given by ELVAC SpA based in Ostrava. The aim of this work is the development of a functional prototype device for voting and selection responses from four options and passing. The final device has to be integrated into a network of identical modules, through communication cable (serial line / USB) and wireless (bluetooth). Another aim of this thesis is the selection of microcontroller and peripheral circuits, sequential design, manufacture and installation of parts on a circuit board, prototype production, its programming and testing. Work does not have to deal with the mechanical design of the final device (box, buttons , etc..) Or higher user software on a PC (requires only demo client that shows the time of pressing the button).
