Testování vlivu rozmístění a velikosti textilních elektrod pro monitorování EKG

Abstract

This academic thesis focuses on testing the influence of the size and placement of textile electrodes for electrocardiogram recording. In the first phase of the work, an analysis of scientific publications found in the Web of Science and Scopus repositories was conducted. Based on the analysis of scientific publications, an ideal scheme of sizes and placements of textile electrodes was selected. In this case, the schemes for the chest and back were chosen, with 3 recording positions selected for each scheme. The electrode sizes were set at $2\times2$, $4\times4$, and $6\times6$ cm. Testing of both schemes was conducted on a sample of 15 individuals, including both men and women. A software application was developed for preprocessing and overall data analysis. Based on the obtained results, it was found that the most effective size of textile electrodes can be declared as the $4\times4$ cm scheme, although the differences are not significant in this case. Regarding the placement, it can be confidently stated that the back scheme exhibits significantly better results than the chest scheme, with both schemes showing better results when the electrodes are moved closer to the heart.
