Problematika povodní v Albrechtičkách

Abstract

Our whole republic is facing the floods, but not all the regions have the same progress of them. It depends on conditions of the river basins of various rivers, whether the river flow was adjusted and moved. It also depends on historic adjustments of the areas affected by the flood range. Albrechtičky is located in the Moravian-Silesian region in Odra river basin and is directly affected by changes that occured during the development of the riverbed and also during reshape of the surrounding meadows and ponds. One of the main problems is the unreasonable alteration of the flow river basin surroundings in past decades and following complications caused by dabing the creek of Albrechtičský stream.
