Abstract

Abstract: The topic of the bachelor thesis is a comparison of the activities and position of public administration in the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic. The theoretical part is focused on public administration in the European administrative area, its actors, principles, models and value pillars that are used in the European administrative area. The practical part analyzes public administration in the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic using the models of the European Administrative Area and also compares the financing of state administration and local government according to the COFOG classification function. The comparison is also made at selected key institutions of the state administration of the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic, where the criteria of comparison of activity, financing and management are used. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to compare the activities and position of public administration in the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic in the years 2016-2019.
