Abstract
This diploma thesis is focused on the analysis and development proposal of a small enterprise operating in the field of 3D printing. Due to the use of real data, the enterprise is anonymized, while the analysis is based on its actual operations. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the current state of the enterprise, identify its main limitations, and propose specific measures leading to its further development.
The theoretical part presents selected strategic management tools, namely Porter’s Five Forces model, the BCG matrix, and the Balanced Scorecard. These tools are subsequently applied in the analytical part of the thesis, which is focused on both the external and internal environment of the enterprise, including human resources, production capacities, technological background, and economic situation.
Based on the conducted analyses, specific recommendations are formulated in the proposal part, including the expansion of production capacity, strengthening of marketing activities, and optimization of the personnel structure. The thesis also includes an economic evaluation of the proposed measures and financing options.
The results of the thesis indicate that the proposed measures have the potential to lead to long-term growth of the enterprise, increased competitiveness, and more efficient use of available resources.
