Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with business in the form of franchising. The aim of this work was to find out what are the possible advantages and disadvantages of franchising and to point out the shortcomings in the franchise agreement of a particular company. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical ones.

In the theoretical part of the thesis, there is basic information about the functioning of franchising, franchise unions and especially about the requirements of the franchise agreement presented.

The practical part of the thesis deals with a specific company, its franchise agreement and an analysis of it. The evaluation of this analysis was based on a comparison of the general model of the contract, which serves entrepreneurs as a template and the franchise agreement, which the selected company has specifically concluded with the use of knowledge from the theoretical part of the thesis. In the conclusion of the thesis, solutions to the shortcomings found in the contract are proposed.
