Abstract
The main subject of thesis is describing issues of small and medium-sized companies. First chapter provide an overview of the current state of small and medium-sized companies in Czech Republic and Slovakia. The work is further focused on setting up a limited company in Slovakia. Starting and developing ltd is presented on fictitious company Veselý, s. r. o. The latest chapter is in form of business plan, where are described assumed risks and possibility of success of company.
