Abstract
The bachelor thesis discusses design of a device scanning heart’s electric activity, data collection using Arduino platform, and data visualisation using LabView software. The first part of the thesis addresses theoretical background of measuring heart activity, such as the origin of the signal, methods of scanning, design of ECG electrodes, and finally signal and its elimination. It also contains research on modern applications of ECG modules. The second part of the thesis is dedicated to explanation of author’s hardware ECG plug-in solution, analysis of individual components of the measuring device, and its manufacturing. It also contains design of filtration and electrodes for scanning ECG signal. The third part describes the data transmission from Adruino board to LabView software, which was used as a platform for ECG signal visualisation program. Lastly, the author will discuss collected data and its evaluation.
