Abstract

This bachelor thesis is dealing with the issue of overcoming cylinder locks. It describes destructive and non-destructive methods of overcoming cylinder locks. The beginning of the theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the legislation and norms which are connected with this topic. In the following part is the description of parts and functions of locks. The largest section explains various methods of overcoming cylinder locks. The end of the theoretical part deals with the selection of suitable cylinder lock. Some of the methods are tested in the practical part, based on the results is the assessment of functionality, time requirements and especially their effectiveness.
