Analýza hodnocení způsobilosti výrobního procesu u dodavele automobilových dílů.

Abstract

The process capability analysis at a supplier of car seat backrests focuses on evaluating the process's ability to consistently produce products of the required quality. After summarizing the theoretical background, the experimental part verifies key assumptions: data normality, randomness of sampling, and statistical stability. Process capability indices are calculated and the number of nonconforming products is estimated. The results showed that despite a deviation of the mean, the process achieves high capability due to low variability. A simulation was conducted to assess the influence of different variance estimation methods and the impact of mean squared error on estimate accuracy. Data modeling using a mixture of distributions was also tested. The recommendation was to apply alternative approaches for more accurate capability evaluation, monitor process centering, sensitivity to the choice.
