Extenze Google Gears a možnosti využití v GIS

Abstract

This thesis gives a comprehensive view on the use of offline Google Gears and its use in geo-information technologies to support current opportunities and vision for the future use of this extension. The first part is an overview of similar technology and completed projects and those which are planned. After evaluating the current situation author showed examples of the using Google Gears with applications that could be useful in field gathering data. In the practical part, the author compares the method of work Navigation and information system of MND with the solution procedure using Google Gears, reviews the advantages and disadvantages and describes an exemplary application functionality.
