Abstract
For a long time aluminium alloys have a wide application in various industries such as construction material. It is reason why they are still studying in forming. The theoretical part of this thesis is devoted to analysis of formability aluminium alloys, together with requirements for reducing the risk of defects during hot rolling. In practical part of thesis are results of deformation behaviour of the aluminium alloy EN AW-Al Mg4.5Mn0.7 after its casting into the classic mould. Deformation resistance for temperatures 250 to 500 °C, strains to 1.0 and strain rates 0.3 to 30 s-1 was described by the Hensel-Spittel model from the uniaxial compression tests results. The effect of temperature on yield strength and formability expressed elongation (ductility) was determined from the uniaxial tension tests results. Also we examined the effect of a method of casting on formability with using earlier results for the same aluminium alloy but its casting into the electromagnetic mould.
