Optimalizace výběrového řízení

Abstract

The aim of my thesis is to carry out the analysis of the process of employee acquiring and selection in two companies, i.e.DHL Express (Czech Republic) ltd. and the Teaching Hospital in Ostrava. Followed by their comparison and proposalsimplementation and recommendation how to improve and find the optimal process of selection procedure. In my thesis I dealt with the process of selection procedure in two companies. The private sector was represented by company DHL Express (Czech Republic) ltd. and the state company by Teaching Hospital in Ostrava. The aim of the thesis was the „Opimalization of selection procedure“, i.e. to carry out the analysis of process of selection procedure in the two companies and on their basis form proposals, recommendations how to improve and form a questionnaire, which is aimed at finding the drawbacks of the company in the job interview. In the first part of the thesis, I analyzed teoretical basis connected with the issue of human resource management. The second part included the introduction of both of the surveyed companies, the short description of their branch of activity, historical development and activities, which they are involved in. In the next part I focused on the practical part of the thesis, where I was creating the questionnaire for the research part. In the last part of the thesis I attented to proposals and recommendations for both companies. I came to a conclusion that it is not possible to explicitly establish the optimal process of selection procedure, because each company has different requirements and specifics for their employees. Nevertheless, this process of selection procedure is very important for each company, because qualified employees form a quality product , i.e. a quality company.
